Divine Dissatisfaction

That title came from a Pastor whose church brother Horst Adler attended some years ago. Believers must understand that they are not already perfect but will be when Jesus takes them to glory. Then and only then will they be completely satisfied. The Christ who lives in them is perfect and He helps them to get His perfect will done. His will getting done will give them divine satisfaction. Nothing resides in their flesh that produces perfection. Their lack of perfection gives Christians divine dissatisfaction. Believers should be satisfied and grateful for whatever of His perfection God has put into them and into their lives. But that satisfaction is just a taste of the satisfaction that they can have and will have in their glorious future. It should give them a craving for more satisfaction of the same kind. That craving can only be satisfied when the will of God is done. Nothing is as unsatisfying as walking in our flesh and nothing is as satisfying as living in God*s will.

Jude 1:24: Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

1 John 3:2: Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Psalms 17:15: As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.

2 Corinthians 4:7: But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Psalms 37:23-24: The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.

Philippians 3:12-14: Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Romans 12:1-2: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
